Air Namibia is upgrading its fleet with new Embraer ERJ135 aircraft for its domestic and regional networks. It currently operates four Beechcraft 1900Ds, which will be replaced. The delivery dates are scattered, with the first of the new aircraft in service by Feb. 14, the second April 14, and the third on June 3rd. Seat capacity will increase from 19 seats to 37 on the ERJ 135s and will help to fill demand to popular destinations like Ondangwa, Maun and Victoria Falls.
