Air Canada’s passenger levels for February dipped 2.5 percentage points to 75.9, which the airline is quick to point out that its aircraft were fuller last year due to the Vancouver Winter Olympics. “We experienced continued traffic increases in the key transborder and Pacific markets and overall traffic growth system-wide,” said chief executive Calin Rovinescu. Meanwhile, rival WestJet Airlines says it flew more passengers in February than the year earlier.
