Air Cairo recently took delivery of four new aircraft, three Embraer E190 and one Airbus A320neo as a part of its fleet expansion and modernization plan. The new aircraft will join the airline’s fleet of 16 Airbus A320s and four ATR 72-600s, bringing Air Cairo’s total fleet size to 24. The airline plans to induct six more aircraft by March 2023, and reach the fleet capacity of 30. The Embraer aircraft are leased from CIAF Leasing, which received the aircraft in December 2022.
