From 1 June, Aeroflot will launch daily regular flights directly connecting nine Russian cities with Sochi. Flights to the popular southern resort will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft from Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan, Saint Petersburg, Omsk, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, and Ufa. Aeroflot’s new programme allows passengers from Russian regions to fly to the Black Sea bypassing Moscow in the peak summer season. Aeroflot Group has also opened regular flights to Anadyr, the capital of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Flights under SU code are operated by Rossiya Airlines using a 777. Three weekly flights are scheduled on Mondays,  Thursdays, and Sundays.
