A Turkish Airlines A330, Flight THY726, has crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu after overshooting the runway as it tried to land in dense fog. Upon landing, the aircraft’s front landing gear collapsed and the plane nose-dived on the runway. No passengers on the flight although some were seriously hurt and given medical attention after evacuation. The aircraft had circled for half hour over Nepal before it made a second attempt to land.
