Rostec’s Russian Helicopters plan to establish a JV for assembling light civil helicopters with Iran

Russian Helicopters forming part of Rostec and Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) of Iran announced cooperation in setting up a joint venture for assembling light civil helicopters manufactured in Russia which may take place in Iran. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by CEO of Russian Helicopters Andrey Boginsky and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDRO Mansour Moazami. The document is aimed at promoting cooperation between Russia and Iran as part of the program on upgrading the Iranian helicopter fleet.
