Following the crash landing of a Turkish Airlines A330 last week, Nepal’s only international airport has remained closed as workers struggle to remove the aircraft, which is blocking the single runway. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has flown in special equipment from India to try to lift the 330 from a grassy area, which has been impeded by the aircraft’s broken front landing gear.
