TenCate Advanced Composites Europe has been awarded a contract to supply its “Cetex” carbon fabric laminates for use in the A350 XWB. TenCate will deliver the material to several Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners of Airbus that produce fuselage panels and components for the passenger aeroplane. “Cetex”, which offers high strength and low weight and can be moulded, will be applied to the stiffening structure of the body of the Airbus A350 XWB.
