A new Swedish-Brazilian research and innovation centre in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, has begun. Saab is one of the initiators of the facility. “The research and innovation centre will form a bridgehead between Brazil and Sweden, a hub to identify, develop and support high-tech bilateral co-operation projects and technology for a sustainable society,” says Saab’s President and CEO Håkan Buskhe. It is hoped the centre will create partnerships and networking opportunities to Brazilian and Swedish governmental, academic and industry entities with an interest to extend the co-operation between the countries.
