An Air New Zealand aircraft was forced to return to Wellington International Airport shortly after take-off when the crew smelled smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely with no injuries. Engineers were checking the aircraft and passengers would be accommodated on the next possible flight, said an ANZ spokeswoman.
