Both Russia’s United Aircraft Corp. (UAC) and China’s Comac are in talks with Ryanair regarding a possible order for either the MS-21 or the C919 jet. CEO Michael O’Leary stated that: “they are very keen to work with Ryanair”. “We haven’t got a firm offer on price, and at the moment we don’t have certainty about when they will actually deliver the aircraft,” O’Leary said he doubts that the MS-21 and the C919 can be delivered as planned, in 2017. both Comac and UAC are doing the rounds at this time with all airlines as they seek sales.
