Qatar Airways is preparing to take delivery of the first of ten A380 ordered by the airline. The delivery was delayed by three months over reported concerns over the quality of the cabin interior. Speaking at the Farnborough Airshow in July 2014, chief executive Akbar al Baker said that the airline would take all of the ten aircraft it had ordered but when it was correct, emphasizing that the airline was a demanding customer with high standards.
