Lufthansa Group partners up with Winding Tree to bring blockchain technology to the travel industry

The Lufthansa Group is now working closely with the Switzerland-based startup Winding Tree, which is seeking to reorganize travel distribution using a decentralized B2B marketplace system powering blockchain-based travel booking transactions. With this new technology, the company insists that startups and companies will be able to gain direct access to travel service providers’ offerings without the inefficiencies given by a setup with many intermediaries.
