JETSTAR TO TRIAL IPADS

Qantas Airlines to trial iPads for in-flight entertainment to travellers on Jetstar. It has been testing the iPads on the main airline from June, where passengers can rent the tablets for A$10. the trial was such a success that it is rolling out the service on its Jetstar flights. “We’re in the final stages of putting in place what would be a broader roll out across the network. We’re in ongoing discussion with the manufacturer around a more integrated network proposition,” a spokesperson for the airline told reporters.
