Iran accuses Boeing of price-gouging over spares deal

Iranian media has reported that the Iranian Civil Aviation Organisation (IrCAO) has refused to buy spare parts supplied by Boeing under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year, as the price being charged by Boeing is, according to Iranian MP Jalil Sar Ghale, “at least three times that of current market prices.”Ghale also stated that if Boeing did not reconsider, then Iran would continue to source spares using methods that it had adopted while under sanctions.So far, Boeing has only supplied Iran Air with documentation and manuals.After the signing of an interim deal between Iran and
