Airbus has certified the Ionbond Greensboro, NC, USA coating center for the production of PVD coatings according to Airbus process specifications (AIPS). The certification will allow the facility in Greensboro to provide coatings to Airbus directly and through its suppliers. Ionbond has been a supplier to Airbus in Europe for a number of years through its coating center in Chassieu, France.
