Federal Aviation Administration approves $7.1 million upgrade of Venice’s runway.

One of two runways at Venice airport in Florida are due to undergo a new restoration thanks to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approving $7.1 million to upgrade it.

This also begins to mark not only the restoration of the airport but also of relationships between the FAA and Venice, particularly after Venice tried to downgrade its status from a C-II to a B-II status.
