Etihad Airways opts for AerData

AerData, the provider of software and services for the aviation industry, has announced that Etihad Airways is the latest airline to acquire STREAM aircraft records software.

STREAM (Secure Technical Records for Electronic Asset Management) is the industry’s foremost web-based solution used by some of the world’s largest airlines, lessors and MROs to manage aircraft and engine records.

Commenting on the announcement, Mark Nieuwendijk, Managing Director of AerData said; “Etihad Airways is one of the fastest growing global airlines and we are delighted they have chosen STREAM, alongside other major organisations in the last 24 months. Etihad Airways’ key requirements were a scalable IT solution combined with an extensive services capability. AerData were able to demonstrate both of these from previous successful implementations of STREAM.”

Etihad Airways’ Chief Operations Officer, Richard Hill, said; “We are completely committed to best practice in the maintenance of our rapidly growing fleet. In selecting a solution to meet our business requirements, we set very rigorous criteria, which AerData were able to meet, and we are now looking forward to working with them in the future.”
