Embraer has posted a second-quarter net profit of $146.7 million, in contrast to a $3.8 million net loss during the same quarter in 2013. The OEM also saw a 12.8% rise in revenue to $1.76bn. Embraer delivered 29 aircraft during the period, which is a rise of 31.8% over the 22 units delivered during Q2 2013. The deliveries comprised 16 E-175s, eight E-190s and five E-195s. Embraer Commercial Aviation generated revenue of $971.9 million during the second quarter, up 13% year-on-year and representing 55.2% of Embraer’s total revenue during the three-month period.
