Embraer’s ECC Leasing subsidiary is working to establish an office in Russia. Embraer expects a surge in demand for as many as 200-300 50-seaters in Russia. Bombardier already has an office in Russia to promote its CRJ100 and CRJ200 aircraft. Embraer is hoping to emulate its African program where it appointed Airlink as its Embraer Authorized Service Center for the ERJ-145 family in August, which includes establishing an Embraer spare parts distribution center in Johannesburg.
