EASA and FAA certification for Bruce Aerospace Germania Airbus A321 LED Cabin Lighting System

EASA and the FAA has certified Bruce Aerospace A321 for its XLume LED lighting product line. The work was performed by Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) in Dresden Germany. The product line offers airlines a drop-in replacement for the OEM supplied fluorescent cabin lighting fixtures which enhances the cabin with the environmentally friendly, and cost reducing Bruce Aerospace LED fixtures. The certification covers the fitment of new “Plug & Play” Sidewall, Ceiling and Entry Lights in single white and Bi-colour options of Blue & White. The Sidewall and Ceiling Lights retain the same part number but with selectable scenarios.
