EADS has reported 2010 net income of €553 million from a €763 million net loss in 2009, on the back of 7% revenue growth to €45.8 billion driven by a strong commercial aircraft performance.  CEO Louis Gallois called 2010 a year of significant progress which exceeded expectations. But the company noted in a statement that the A350 is a top risk program.  Airbus for its part posted 2010 EBIT of €305 million, from  €1.37 billion loss in 2009.
