COMAC to launch ARJ21-700 in early 2016

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has confirmed that it regional jet, ARJ21-700, will enter service in February 2016 following two months of pilot training and trials. The original launch date for this aircraft was 2006. The aircraft still needs to attain full production type approval from the aviation authorities, which is expected toward the end of the year.
