COMAC SELECTS HONEYWELL FOR C919

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) has selected Honeywell to provide four aircraft systems for the new C919 airliner: fly-by-wire flight controls; the wheel and brake system; the auxiliary power unit; and the inertial reference system that provides precision location data. The contract is worth more than $11.3 billion.

Honeywell has been working in conjunction with AVIC and other companies on the C919 programs, including AVIC Dongan, AVIC FACRI, and Hunan Boyun.

Honeywell operates 10 facilities throughout China, including Aerospace maintenance and manufacturing facilities in Xiamen, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Shanghai.
