The Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC), which is manufacturing China’s first locally produced commercial aircraft the C919, has stated that the first flight of the aircraft has been delayed further to 2015, with deliveries from 2018. This latest delay is again due to early-stage design difficulties. Comac has 400 orders for the C919 jets from 16 customers.
