Cathay Pacific’ is preparing to receive its first A350-900 from Airbus on Friday, 27 May. The aircraft will begin commercial operations on June 1 on its first service from Hong Kong to Manila, and subsequently on daily services to Manila and Taipei until the second A350 arrives in July. The A350s will be used on regional services for three months and enter long-haul service from September.
