Boeing to reduce 747-8 production

Boeing has indicated that it plans to reduce output of its 747-8 aircraft to one per month from 2016 even though it expects a recovery in the air cargo market to drive future sales. This decision has not surprised the market and Boeing has been slowing cutting monthly production of the aircraft from an average of 1.5 in September to 1.3.
