Another milestone has been reached in building a $750 million Boeing aircraft assembly plant on the South Carolina coast. Governor Mark Sanford and about 800 construction workers were among those who turned out at the North Charleston plant Friday for a topping off ceremony. The event marked the highest point of construction for the plant, a second assembly line for the new 787. The first line is in Everett. The final beam for the new plant was signed by construction workers and a banner signed by Boeing employees was attached. Construction began last November on the plant that is expected
