Batik Air to drive new growth with Sabre as its first-ever GDS partner

Sabre has announced the first-ever global distribution system (GDS) partnership with the Lion Group full service Indonesia-based airline subsidiary, Batik Air. As Batik Air’s first GDS partner, Sabre’s global network aims to boost the airline’s growth by expanding its reach and providing new distribution channels. Indonesia has one of the world’s largest travel markets with a growing economy and affluence, creating an increasingly competitive landscape among local airlines.
