ARJ21 prototype completes next stage of certification

COMAC has announced that the fourth prototype ARJ21-700 regional jet (s/n 104 has successfully completed the next stage of the aircraft’s certification testing, including testing of the windshield defogging and rain removal systems, as well as assessment of braking performance on a wet runway. The tests were completed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport in Hainan Province, China.The next stage of the ARJ21-700’s certification programme will focus on the aircraft’s flight management system.
