Thailand CAAT begins safety audits

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) is beginning airline inspections of Thai-registered airlines to be able to reissue Air Operator Certificates (AOCs), which it hopes will lead to the lifting of red flags by EASA. Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways and Thai AirAsia are the first airlines to be audited, which are expected to be completed by January 2017.
