SUPPORT STRIKE BY FINNISH AVIATION UNION HAS LIMITED AFFECT

A strike by the Finnish Aviation Union, which represents land service personnel at Finnish airports, in support of the Finnish Cabin Crew Union has had a limited effect on the services of Finnair or other airlines.

Other than some delays and cancellations, the airline has stated that its ground services provider Barona Handling would be able to deal with luggage for holiday charger flights, and that managerial personnel would deal with luggage for those scheduled flights that are still flying.
