The Sukhoi Superjet 100 has been granted its type certificate A-176 from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for meeting airworthiness and environmental requirements. The certificate will be presented to Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Co. on February 24.  The aircraft has 168 firm orders for the SSJ100. Next for the aircraft is Mexican validation of the EASA certificate.
