Online claims firm, CaseHub has launched a class action lawsuit against Ryanair over alleged ‘unfair hidden charges’. CaseHub has attracted 5,000 participants to launch the £400 million suit against the budget airline but needs to attract a further 70,000 to help its claim succeed. European consumer law states that any consumer contract term that is ‘unfair’ is not valid. The main areas of concern involved charges such as re-issuing a boarding pass for £15 to changing a passenger name for £160 per passenger.
