Hangzhou YTO Express Airlines, a cargo carrier, has filed an application to CAAC Southeast Regional Administration for a public air operator’s certificate. The airline is owned by Shanghai YTO Express Group, which has invested 360 million yuan for a 90% stake in the new company. The start-up cargo carrier received an official approval from the CAAC in July 2014 and is licensed to operate domestic (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) and international cargo services, using Boeing 737-700/ 737-400 all-cargo aircraft.
