The Indian government has relented and de-registered and handed over 15 aircraft leased it to Kingfisher Airlines from lessors that have outstanding rental dues. All but two of the leased aircraft held by Kingfisher – those belonging to DVB that are the subject of an ongoing lawsuit – will be returned to lessors.
