Indian carriers preferred fares to be limited

The Indian government is working to issue a directive that would limit the amount of seats Indian carriers can charge extra on – preferred seating at the front of the aircraft or exit rows – to about 15-20% of the total seats on each flight. A notification limiting the number of preferred seats is likely to be issued soon.
