ICAO RULES IRAN FLIGHT OPERATIONS AS SATISFACTORY

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has evaluated Iran’s aviation performance as satisfactory in terms of flight capabilities and operations.

The head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization said: “These evaluations are positive proof of our satisfactory position in the region and in some cases prove that Iran is at the same level as developed countries.”

ICAO has conducted examinations in 165 countries, including the Islamic Republic and the result of the examinations on Iran’s aviation has been satisfactory, Nakhjavani said.

More recently ICAO has cautioned European countries for refusing to supply Iranian passenger planes with fuel.
