EADS HEAD WARY OF INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE IN CHINA

Louis Gallois, head of EADS, has stated publicly that industrial espionage is a very real threat in China. He said Airbus has had to exercise prudence’ while carrying out test flights in the region.

Media report suggest the comments were made as Renault is in the process of prepares to proving that three of its executives transferred sensitive data – to where however has not been publicised.

Although Gallois’ spokespeople have denied he was focusing specifically on China, Beijing has described his allegations as ‘irresponsible’ and has potentially damaged Airbus’ reputation in Chinese, one of largest and growing markets for aircraft.
