Georgia lawmakers have voted to withdraw a tax benefit for Atlanta-based Delta as part of a broader tax package approved this week, allegedly due to the airline’s decision to sever ties with the National Rifle Association, ending its contract for discounted rates through the airline’s group travel program. The final version of the bill dropped an earlier amendment that would have renewed a jet fuel tax exemption worth $50 million that was eliminated in 2015. The bill now only awaits the signature of the governor, Republican Gov. Nathan Deal, who has stated that he plans to sign the tax package
