The current curfew at Sydney restricts planes from landing between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., but Qantas, British Airways and Singapore Airlines have been granted permission to break this curfew during the winter period. However, the legislation requires all flights to approach the airport over the water from the south to land on runway 34L.
