Xian Aircraft Company has been issued a type certificate for its MA-60 turboprop aircraft by the Bolivian civil aviation authority (Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil – DGAC), permitting the aircraft to enter service in the South American country.The Chinese manufacturer is set to deliver the first of four MA-60s to BoA – Boliviana de Aviación subsidiary BoA Regional, which anticipates using the aircraft on flights to the difficult-to-access towns of Guayaramerin, Oruro, Puerto Suárez, and Rurrenabaque.
