North Korea has reopened the inter-Korean aviation hotline it had closed on May 26. “The North last Saturday told us through the Kaesong Industrial Complex that it will reconnect the inter-Korean civilian aviation hotline between Pyongyang and Incheon as of Monday morning,” says Ministry spokesman Chun Hae-sung. The inter-Korean air traffic control communication network is used by the two Koreas to exchange information needed for control of foreign civilian aircraft flying between the two Korea’s territories.
