Vista receives first Bombardier Global 8000

Vista has received its first Bombardier Global 8000 aircraft, the private aviation group said today (April 15). The Global 8000 are upgrades to its existing Global 7500 aircraft fleet.

The company will receive two Global 8000s per month through to the end of the year, bringing its full fleet to 18 Global 8000 jets.

With these upgraded aircraft, the jets will provide performance enhancements through advanced engineering and software upgrades.

The jets have an increased range reaching 8,000 nautical miles and has a top speed of Mach 0.95 — the fastest civil jet since Concorde. The jet is powered by GE Passport 20 engines.

The aircraft has received type certification from Transport Canada and FAA late last year and EASA in January 2026. NetJets was the first to receive the Global 8000 jet last month.

“For our members, greater speed and extended range translate directly into practical benefits such as reaching their destination faster or travelling more efficiently with direct flights,” said Vista chairman and founder Thomas Flohr.

Vista placed a $1.2bn order for 40 Bombardier Challenger 3500 private jets in February this year. The order had options for an additional 120 aircraft.

The group provides on-demand charter and subscription private jet services.
