Julia Haywood resigns as Chief Commercial Officer at United Continental Holdings, Inc. (PRNewsFoto/United Airlines) It has been confirmed that Julia Haywood, who was hired last summer as the new chief commercial officer of United Continental Holdings, has resigned. She is reported to have returned to Boston Consulting Group. President Scott Kirby has praised Haywood for leading United’s commercial activities “during a critical period of transition for the senior management team when we needed her help the most”. He added that now United’s executive team is set, Haywood had decided to return to the consulting firm.
