Regional airline LIAT chief executive officer (CEO) David Evans has resigned, effective immediately. The Board of Directors has accepted Evans’ resignation which comes after two years at the helm of the airline. Director of Finance Julie Reifer-Jones, who served as interim chief after the resignation of Captain Ian Brunton in September 2013 and before Evans was appointed on April 22, 2014, will again act as CEO. “The Board of Directors thanks Mr. Evans for his service and wishes him every success in his future endeavours,” the airline said in a statement.
