GLASS BECOMES CFO OF AWAS

Simon Glass has been appointed as chief financial officer of Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS. Glass will be based at the Dublin headquarters and will join the firm on February 1, 2011.

“The entire AWAS family is very excited and welcomes Simon to join us as our business enters into a new phase of growth and expanding solutions,” said Ray Sisson, president & CEO AWAS.  “His depth of experience and financial leadership will be a great asset to AWAS and our customers.”

Prior to joining AWAS, Glass was deputy group finance director at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. He joined RBS, from Standard Chartered, where he was deputy group finance director.  Before that Glass was at HSBC Group for 19 years in a number of senior finance positions.
