David Attenburrow has resigned from Flybe. “After nearly fifteen enjoyable and productive years with Flybe – during which I have led the carrier’s successful acquisition and financing of over 110 aircraft valued at $2.5bn, the disposal of some 87 aircraft and, more recently, succeeded with some important initiatives to reshape the fleet in line with Flybe’s core business model – I have decided to leave the company and seek a fresh challenge.” Before he leaves the company on March 31, 2015, Attenburrow will continue to report directly to Saad Hammad, Flybe CEO, working on a number of important fleet projects.
