Lufthansa subsidiary Austrian Airlines has announced the appointment of Andreas Otto as chief commercial officer, effective from 1st October 2014. Otto is currently executive board member for product and sales at Lufthansa Cargo. Until a replacement is appointed, Lufthansa Cargo executive board chairman and CEO Peter Gerber will assume responsibility for product and sales on an interim basis.
