Online hotel reservation company booking.com is seeking damages from Ryanair, which in 2020 sued the travel website for allegedly “screen-scraping”, according to Irish media reports. Booking.com says the claims are defamatory. But the travel website’s counter-claim came after a judge last month turned down its attempt to have Ryanair’s suit dismissed. Ryanair this year won a similar case involving lastminute.com, which was ordered by a French court to cease selling Ryanair flight tickets
